The logic behind it.

AI-generated ads and affiliate videos are exploding — brands are pumping out short-form creative faster than human teams can keep up, and platforms now reward volume + variation more than polish.

Instead of fighting that shift, I leaned into it.

The workflow.

Using AI, I built a repeatable workflow that takes a handful of product reference photos and generates a fully edited AI affiliate video — talent, motion, pacing, and product hero shots — ready to be posted to TikTok, Reels, or Shorts the same day.

Identity-first hook drove the highest 3-second retention I've measured on the account. The "no experience" admission collapsed objection. 1,501 saves and 317 shares signalled strong audience match — the algorithm pushed reach to 149K organically.

↗ What I'd improve next time

Caption could open with the most striking number ("5 years out of corporate") to win the "more" tap faster. Would test a second cut with a softer pace in the first second to reduce early skips.
